COOPER INTERCONNECT BRAND ANNOUNCED
SYRACUSE, NY, October 15, 2007 - Cooper Crouse-Hinds, LLC announced today that it is launching Cooper Interconnect as a brand for its interconnect business. Cooper Interconnect integrates the recently acquired WPI Interconnect Products, G&H Technology, and Crouse-Hinds Molded Products businesses into a single unit focusing on the design and development of connectors, cable assemblies, and total interconnect solutions.
Cooper Interconnect will provide customers with a complete connectivity package, from concept to design to production. The newly formed group offers standard and application-specific connector and cable solutions for the mil-aero, industrial, commercial and transportation markets. A key focus also will be on new product development, taking the lead in the market, as well as responding to customer demand.
